For their first presentation together in Ibiza, Miranda Makaroff and Víctor González come together in a space shaped by emotion, intuition and perception. Their works do not follow one single theme, but both move within a kind of suspended atmosphere. Something soft and dreamlike that does not ask to be explained, only experienced. A place where forms are fluid and attention becomes the main tool.

The word nublous describes well the feeling of entering this presentation. Not only because it recalls the presence of clouds, but because it suggests something slightly veiled. A state between clarity and fog, between the real and the imagined. This sensation appears in both practices, sometimes in form, sometimes in mood. It is never the subject, but it is always present, like a thin layer that covers and reveals at the same time.

Víctor González works with abstraction to create spaces that feel organic and constructed at once. His use of materials and colour gives his paintings a quiet intensity. Each piece opens slowly, inviting the viewer to enter through perception rather than concept. He builds with care, but leaves room for ambiguity. There is always something just out of reach, something that resists being named.

Miranda Makaroff brings a different kind of energy. Her images are full of life, of bold colours and playful forms. She mixes human, animal and plant elements into compositions that feel alive and open. Her work comes from the subconscious, from dreams, from a place where emotion has no filter. By combining painting with textile and sculpture, she creates spaces that are both intimate and theatrical. Her universe is one of transformation, freedom and deep connection.

Even if their approaches are very different, both artists share a way of understanding painting. Not as a tool to describe reality, but as a space to explore inner landscapes. They trust the senses, they follow personal rhythms, and they let images speak without explanation.

In a Nublous State offers a moment of pause. A space where it is possible to feel without needing to define. To stay a little longer in what is not yet clear. To drift with the image and allow it to touch something within.
