Antonela Aiassa (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1988) is a contemporary sculptor and painter whose practice is profoundly connected to nature, both as a source of material and as a place where she gathers ideas for the formal appearance of her pieces. Living and working between Barcelona and Buenos Aires, she explores concepts of transformation, identity, and belonging through organic forms and elemental substances. Her work develops through an intuitive dialogue with the materials, allowing their intrinsic qualities to guide the outcome of each piece.

Aiassa’s sculptures, primarily made from chamotte clay, are shaped through processes in which water, air, and earth play an essential role.
